Artist Statement:
I have been active as an amateur photographer for 40 years. During the past ten years, I have trained personally with a series of fine teachers (Elizabeth Opalenik, Karin Rosenthal, and Connie Imboden). I primarily photograph people as a street photographer, portrait maker, and fine art photographer with a smattering of photographs of buildings, landscapes, and events.

I love seeing the world through a lens and exploring the camera as a means for discovery.
Biography:
A native of Iowa. Graduate of Cornell College (Iowa), University of Chicago (Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Arts), and Harvard (Doctor of Theology). I am a retired Unitarian Universalist Minister and have taught at Cornell College, The University of Iowa, and Harvard Divinity School in religious studies.
