Jennifer Smith

Artist Statement:
I have been working with pen and ink for about 15 years now. It seems to be the perfect medium in which to express myself and in which to let my weird, disjointed imagination wander.
Biography:
Jennifer Smith started her small business, "Jen and Ink" about 10 years ago through which she sells her cards and prints. She works with a fin-nibbed rapidograph pen to build up layers of detail. Her drawings are often a mix of plant, mineral and animal characteristics resulting in strange new little entities. Her artwork is a bit on the dark side, but not lacking in a sense of humor.

Jennifer has exhibited her artwork throughout northern New England. She hopes to get over her discomfort with technology and get a website up and running in the near future.
